Types of extractor

Type 1 spring loaded, ejector spring directly behind extractor, retained by disc on side, most common on the standard Nikko ie 5000, as used by Cogswell, Beretta, essentially identical system to Perazzi.

Type 2 Spring loaded and floating, ejector spring behind extractor, mostly used on Shadow Indy

Type 3 floating, ejector Spring is in forepart behind ejector kicker, retained by v Spring underneath extractor, depressed through hole in extractor slide, mostly used on Winchesters and Classic Doubles, as used by Browning, Miroku
